2010 TxSBLE Conference

The Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) is accepting presenter applications for the 2010 Texas School-Based Law Enforcement (TxSBLE) Conference to be held July 5 - 9, 2010 at the Omni Bayfront Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas. TxSSC has designed this conference to focus on prevention and intervention issues in K-12 schools and universities. The TxSBLE Conference is an event designed to train school resource officers, school district police officers, security personnel, educators, administrators, and higher education law enforcement officers on best practices in school safety, emergency management, and various campus safety issues.

Eligible presentations will focus on topics related to safety and security in the K-12 and/or higher education environments. Preference will be given to presentations that are research-based and offer practical, cost-effective ideas for making schools safer.
